Final Installment of Kids in the City: Meet Alison of ‘600 sq ft and a Baby’

This is the final installment of Kids in the City, a series that showcased families who embrace compact urban living - in all of its forms (condo, townhouse, duplex, etc).
When I started my Kids in the City series, a friend of mine recommended that I check out a blog, 600 sq ft and a Baby, by Alison Mazurek. She writes about living in a 600 square foot apartment in Vancouver with her husband, Trevor, and their two year old son, Theo. Her family’s apartment - recently featured on design websites like Apartment Therapy and Poppytalk - is so beautiful that it might convince even the most ardent McMansion lover to trade space for a more simple life. She makes it look so easy and…..desirable.
Here are Alison’s thoughts on city living in a compact home (you can see more photos of her gorgeous space here):
Jillian of the wonderful blog This City Life which focuses on how to live in the city with a small family (right up my alley, yes?) asked me some thought provoking questions about our choice to live in the city with a toddler. Thanks so much Jillian! Click on the title to read the whole interview.
