The Perfect Plate

See this content in the original post

I have been on the hunt for a divided plate for Theo.  Ever since we found the perfect lunchbox for him (see Here), I have wanted to find something similar for home.  I wanted one plate that could be easily washed (dishwasher safe), unbreakable and simple in design.  I also wanted the plate to be divided as he loves to keep his different food groups separate and it’s a helpful reminder for me to make sure he has enough of the right foods.

When I was on the hunt for a divided plate for him I found most were very busy with animals and prints and none that I liked.  They were also very expensive. So I was so pleased when I found this Re-Play recycled plastic plate at my neighborhood gem Welk’s General Store. The simplicity of this plate, the high edges and the recycled nature instantly appealed to me and it was also really affordable ($4!!!). I also picked up a small bowl too.  I’m hopeful this will be a great way to keep meals organized and kiddo dishes limited. I don’t understand having tons of plastic dishes for one little person. I’d much rather have one set of dishes that I really love and wash them more often; though I’m still debating the colour, there were too many great choices!
