Gift Guide : Toddler Books
I am so lucky that Theo is such a voracious little reader (or rather, listener of books). He rarely sits still except when we read to him. Often I will read 5 books in a row just to have him cuddle patiently and calmly beside me on the couch. Currently any book about trains are his favourite but I make a deal, one train book and one book I pick. He always loves non-train books once we get reading.
Here are a couple I have picked up for him this Christmas. Despite our small space I always find room for kids books in his room.
The Book with No Pictures - B.J. Novak
The Day the Crayons Quit - Oliver Jeffers
And here are a few of his favourites I have bought copies of for his little friends:
Press Here - Herve Tullet
Stuck - Oliver Jeffers
I Want My Hat Back - Jon Klassen
Home - Carson Ellis
One of my go to sources for new book ideas is kaleidoscopeca on Instagram run by the inspiring creative and mama Kellie Digs . I am always finding new books to try on her recommendation.
